1. Crane will be single girder box type construction fabricated from IS-226 plates.
2. End Carriages will be fabricated from Rolled Section with stiffeners.
3. Two small checkered plate platforms will be provided on one side of the bridge girder.
4. Trolley frame will be fabricated from rolled sections.
5. Hand railings of tubular section will be provided on platform.
6. LT wheels will be EN-8/EN-9 forged and the hardness will be 250/300 BHN, mounted on “L” type bearing housing.
7. LT will be driven on floating shaft and will rotate LT wheel with drive machinery.
8. Geared flexible couplings will be provided for LT.
9. Gear Box bodies will be fabricated from MS plates.
10. All gears will be EN-8/EN-9 finished machine cut and with helical/Spur teeth, cut on accurate hobbing machine.
11. Gearbox will be totally enclosed type and oil bath lubricated.
12. Wire Rope drum will be fabricated from IS-2062 plates.
13. Rope sheaves will be of cast steel or C.I.
14. Hook will be EN-3 forged, single shake type as per ISS 3815.
15. All breaks will be Electromagnetic shoe/Disc type with T.C.
16. All contactors and relays will be Siemens/Telemechanic
17. Make and fuses will be English Electric make.
18. Crane will be controlled from ground floor through Pendent Push Button and controlled voltage shall be 110/24 volts through our transformer.

1. Hi-tech hoists are designed strictly as per IS : 3938 – 1983.
2. The hoist motor is crane duty-40%CDF of reputed make like BBL/SIEMENS/CROMPTON to reduce the downtime while maintenance.
3. Hoist brake is fail-to-safe type of Cutler Hammer/Path make easy to replace.
4. Hoist is perfectly balance on no load condition and all the maintenance point/parts are easily accessible.
5. The trolley wheels are easily adjusted for various flange widths while erection.
6. Hoist assembly consists of motor, rope drum, gearbox and electromagnetic brake each as a separate unit and easy for dismantling and maintenance.
7. Rope drum is fabricated from steel plates or seamless pipe with chemical and physical testing.
8. Steel gears of EN8 and pinions of EN24` are mounted on deep grooved ball bearings having grease lubrication. The gears are oil bath lubricated.
9. Over hoisting and over lowering limit switch to avoid operational accidents.
10. Hook block with test certificates shank type supported on thrust bearing for easy swiveling.
11. Wire rope –6X36 construction of USHA MARTIN MAKE with test certificates.
12. Geared travel motor of flange mounted type for cross travel motion.
13. Control panel incorporates heavy-duty contactors, transformer and HRC fuses.
14. Pendent Push button station with wire rope supports having 110-control voltage.
