Hoist unit shall be designed in modular construction which simplifies repairs and maintenance. The hoist unit consists of Non-flame proof electrical like motors, electromagnetic brake, control panel, limit switches, push button station, cable glands. The hoist geared train is with precision hob cut helical gears having hardness of 250 to 300 BHN, running on anti-friction type ball bearing lubricated with oil bath lubrication. Electromagnetic shoe type brake shall be provided on hoisting motion to ensure perfect in case of power failure i.e. fail to safe type. Gravity limit switch will be provided for over hoisting and over lowering.
 

Goods Lifts

The hoisting motor shall be foot/flange mounted of Class–F insulation, with IP 54 weather proof enclosure of Crompton/ Bharat Bijlee make.

All controls of electrical like contactors, over load relay, fuse fittings, transformer etc. are housed in weather proof enclosure.

Cage Unit

The goods lift cage is made from rolled steel section. Bottom of the cage will be covered with 6 mm chequered plate and 1 no. collapsible gate will be provided. One sides of the cage structure will be fitted with roller assembly for guiding the cage in `T’ type guide. Rubber buffers will be provided on the bottom portion to absorb the jerks.

The upper half of the height of the cage will be fabricated with M.S. plates and the upper half of the cage will fitted with 25mm square wire mesh. The entire cage structure will be painted with 2 coats of red oxide and 2 coats of Enamel paint.

Electrical interlocks, PB station and controls :

1 no. control board with 2 nos. push button for operation from ground floor to all other floors for up down movement and stopping at any level.

2 nos. push button station on 1 on each floor to operate the cage up and down from the particular floor to the ground floor and to bring the cage to the floor from any other floor.

Scope of your supply:

All civil work will be in your scope of supply. Moreover the side structure fabricated from rolled steel will also be arranged at your site by your fabricator. `T’ guide structure will be fitted by us at your site on the completion of side structure. The internal cabling will be in our scope but one point supply of 3 phase connection up to the particular junction box will be provided by you. Free supply of electricity, water, and other primary amenities to the erection team will be provided while erection of the equipment.

ELECTRICALS :

Power Cables shall be 1100 V grade, PVC insulated, GI armoured & PVC overall sheathed. Conductor shall be of copper below 10mm2 & for sizes above 10mm2 cables shall be XLPE / SWA. Control cables shall be multistrand copper conductors of minimum 2.5 sq. mm. All motors shall conform to squirrel cage induction motors, TEFC, IP – 55, Class ‘F’ insulation, flameproof suitable for Group IIA & IIB vapour, CMRS certified.

INSPECTION AND TESTING :

1. The hoist shall be offered for final inspection.
2. Client / authorized representative shall at all times have an access to supplier’s / suppliers sub contractors workshop to witness fabrication stages.

3. Internal inspection record shall be maintained by supplier / suppliers sub contractor at all times, if any stages are found lacking by way of proper records. Client reserves, the right to ask supplier to modify / amend the fabrication stage.
